Do you every feel that social media is taking over your life? Or do you feel like your calendar is always waaay too busy? In this video, I share tips on how to simplify your social life. Both digital, as well as in real life. For a meaningful life, filled with valuable relationships and love.
I love living a minimalist lifestyle. There’s less clutter, less burdens, less stress. But not just less. There is also MORE. Minimalist living has brought so much more love into my life. Valuable friendships, meaningful interactions with strangers as well as with friends and family. Intentional living is something we can also do when it comes to our social life.
Social minimalism does not mean to just be alone all the time. Or cut people out of your life, or not going to parties. It’s about being intentional with how we spend our time and our energy, when it comes to social interactions. Social media addiction and phone addiction are becoming a real issue for a lot of people. This might feel like we’re connecting with people, but are we really? How can we apply social media minimalism in our life? And if you are experiencing a social media problem, how can we change it and use it in a way that doesn’t negatively impact our wellbeing?
And then, there’s FOMO. Fear Of Missing Out. Do you ever get that? I certainly have. 🙂 We don’t want to see that picture on instagram, of people having a good time (or what seems like a good time, anyway) and we weren’t there.
So how to be a minimalist in the social aspect of our lives? What are the ways to simplify your life? How to declutter our appointments, and our social media? It’s al coming up!!
Lots of love,
